Come now, I told you before that there is only one kind of musical that really rocks me, and that kind comes with the probably best era in Disney animation (sit down, Jeffrey Katzenberg, yes, you were part of that, but not nearly the most important part, so be quiet, okay? And look at Shrek 2, 3, 4 and be very ashamed of yourself, will you?), the era that started with The Little Mermaid and ended with The Lion King. Some may argue that Tarzan was part of that era, too, but whatever wonderful animation that movie had, it was at the end a rather silly version of The Jungle Book, remake-wise.

The era was defined primarily by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, and they brought magic to life.

The movie is Beauty and the Beast.

The song has the same name.

And it tells us true things, as Morpheus would say.
